Luke Heaton’s SIMPLICITY AND TRUTH: THINKING THROUGH THE HISTORY OF MATHEMATICS is a book for anyone who wants to understands what Maths is and what it has to offer – both to the individual and the wider world.

Luke’s writing reflects a mind of great clarity and breadth: unsurprisingly, he has a first-class degree in Maths, an MSc in Mathematics and the Logical Foundation of Computer Science (with Distinction), as well as a BA in Architecture. He currently works as a designer for the One20 Group architectural practice.
